Nisar Hussain holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, specializing in NLP and Machine Learning from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico. His research focuses on transformer-based models for clinical and language AI, including work on early Alzheimer's detection from longitudinal patient records.
He has fine-tuned and deployed large language models — including LLaMA, GPT-4, mBERT, and XLM-R — across real production systems, and has authored or co-authored more than fifteen peer-reviewed papers on transformer architectures, offensive-language detection, and clinical NLP. Before founding NexEntropyAI, he worked as a Machine Learning Engineer and university lecturer.
